Understand listing keywords and keyword evidence
Review your Apple keyword field while keeping text checks separate from ranking intelligence.

ASO Signals reads listing keywords from the selected App Store Connect version and language. This is your listing text, not a list of every search term for which the app ranks.
Review the keyword field
Open an app from Apps.
Select the intended platform, version, and listing language.
Review the keyword field in Store listing.
Check Keyword evidence for the listing language, phrase count, character count, and repeated-phrase information.
Where long-tail counts are shown, they describe comma-separated entries containing multiple words. Text counts and repetition checks describe the content of the selected listing; they do not measure search popularity or ranking strength.
Use repetition warnings as review prompts
Review repeated words and the fields in which they occur. Exact-word checks ignore capitalization and should be read in context. A repetition warning is not a full App Store validation, proof of rejection, or a ranking prediction.
Why are demand and rankings missing?
As of September 19, 2026, the live ASO Signals page states that Keyword Intelligence is not available and that search demand, difficulty, and ranking data are unavailable. Your Apple listing can load correctly while those independent market metrics remain missing.
You do not need to create a separate Keyword Intelligence subscription or replace your Apple key to resolve a service that is not yet available. ASO Signals must show unavailable evidence rather than substitute invented scores.
What listing keywords cannot tell you
A term’s presence in metadata does not prove an organic rank.
Keyword counts do not measure search volume or demand.
App Store Search acquisition does not identify the exact organic term responsible for each download.
Paid advertising placement is not proof of an organic position.
Review and copy listing information in ASO Signals, then make any intended Apple listing changes in App Store Connect. The current product does not publish keyword changes to Apple.
