Read pass, warning, fail, manual review, and not checked without losing the evidence context.

Open Findings for a completed report. Each result should be read with its evidence, rule, source, and suggested next step.

Status meanings

  • Pass: the required evidence was available and satisfied that deterministic rule.

  • Warning: a concern was found, but it does not by itself establish that the submission is invalid.

  • Fail: the available evidence contradicts a deterministic requirement.

  • Manual review: the evidence needs a human or contextual decision.

  • Not checked: required evidence or a safe supported capability was unavailable.

  • Not applicable: the rule’s applicability conditions do not apply to this submission.

Fix the underlying cause

Review observed versus expected evidence, the cited requirement, and remediation. Make any necessary changes in your own project or App Store Connect, then create updated evidence for another check.

A pass is scoped to a rule

A pass does not guarantee App Store acceptance or replace runtime testing, privacy review, or human judgment. If an AI risk review is enabled, read it as separately labeled guidance; it must not replace deterministic evidence or claim Apple will approve or reject your app.
