Troubleshoot missing data with AppReport Data health

Distinguish missing files, partial coverage, authorization failures, and parser limitations.

Open Data health when a report looks incomplete. Check the affected app, source, retained period, and last successful sync.

Read the state before retrying

  • Partial data: some evidence is available, but coverage is incomplete.

  • Not yet available or no file returned: the expected source data has not been obtained. This is not zero activity.

  • Expired before import: Apple no longer supplied that period when import was attempted.

  • Parser update required: AppReport needs support for that source format; replacing your key is not the remedy.

  • Authorization or source error: inspect the detailed message to distinguish permissions from a temporary source failure.

Inspect the source workflow

Follow Ingestion log or open Activity to inspect the related events. A portfolio sync marked Complete means the workflow finished; review each source outcome separately.

Historical imports

Use the available history controls only for the source you intend to import. Some files are archived for review and do not yet contribute to dashboard metrics. Previously expired Apple data cannot be assumed recoverable.

If the cause is unclear, send support the source name, affected period, and visible status without credentials.
