Choose active apps and manage your app allowance

Settings shows the apps accessible through your saved Apple connection. The apps you select as Active for ASO appear in Apps and the app navigation.

Select your apps

1. Open Settings.

2. Under Choose your apps, use Search apps to find an app.

3. Use its Active for ASO checkbox to activate or deactivate it.

4. Wait for saving to finish and confirm the checkbox state.

5. Open Apps to inspect your selected portfolio.

Selections save automatically. Activating or deactivating an app in ASO Signals does not change its availability, listing, or status in App Store Connect.

How the allowance works

The Active app allowance summary shows your current selection count and account allowance. A selected app counts once, rather than once per version or storefront. If you reach the limit, deactivate an app to free a place before activating another.

Deactivation removes an app from the active portfolio; it is not a request to erase its source history. An allowance labeled Internal access is not a paid subscription. Preview plan guidance does not establish that checkout or upgrades are available.

Can I select an unreleased app?

Yes. The catalog can include apps preparing for a first release, under review, available for preorder, released, or removed from sale, provided the connected key can access them. A missing public icon or release date does not necessarily mean an app is invalid.

Refresh and find missing apps

Choose Refresh apps to check the catalog using the saved connection. Check the displayed refresh time and any failure message. If an app is absent, verify the Apple team and the key’s app access. A restricted key may expose only part of the portfolio.

Use column headings to sort and the Per page control and page arrows to browse larger lists. App selection identifies your intended ASO scope; it does not mean an analysis has run or performance reports have been collected.
