Research a keyword in Keyword explorer
Choose the right storefront, keyword language, device, and app before analyzing a term.

Keyword research depends on context. The same term can behave differently across countries, languages, devices, and apps.
Run an analysis
Open Keyword explorer.
Enter the term in Keyword.
Select the Storefront you want to research.
Choose the Keyword language and Device.
Optionally select an App for app-specific context.
Choose Analyze keyword and review the result or availability message.
Keep the same context when comparing results over time. Changing your dashboard’s display language does not replace the keyword-language or storefront choice.
Research with an app
Selecting an app gives app-specific measures their context. If the app has an authorized App Store Connect connection, an explicit analysis can also import its existing listing keywords for the selected storefront’s metadata language. Where the app’s primary language is used as a fallback, check the displayed language before interpreting the terms.
Imported terms and a manually entered term are deduplicated for analysis. Importing terms does not automatically add them to rank tracking or change your Apple listing.
Read the results carefully
Check the selected app, storefront, language, and device.
Read the source, observation date, freshness, and explanation where available.
Treat unavailable scores as missing evidence, not as zero.
Keep Apple catalog results separate from validated organic App Store rankings.
As of September 19, 2026, the dashboard reports that scoring models await publication and organic rank collection awaits validation. You may see useful catalog or metadata context while ranking and score fields remain unavailable.
Save terms for tracking
When analysis results offer Track keywords, use it to explicitly save those terms and their context. Open Rank tracking to check the saved entries and collection state. Saving a list does not guarantee that observations or historical ranks already exist.
