Use Discover to explore candidate terms, Compare to review your own shortlist, and Competitor gaps to investigate available ranking evidence for competing apps.

As of September 19, 2026, organic rank collection awaits validation and scoring models await publication. These tools may return unavailable fields or no usable observations. An empty result is not a complete picture of the App Store.

Discover candidate keywords

  1. Open Discover.

  2. Select the storefront, keyword language, and device.

  3. Add seed keywords, one per line. The current form accepts up to 10.

  4. Optionally select a target app and enter competitor App Store app IDs.

  5. Choose Search corpus.

Discovery searches the collected dataset. A term found in listing metadata is a candidate for research; it is not proof that an app ranks for that term. Check the candidate’s source before treating it as an observed ranking.

Compare a shortlist

  1. Open Compare.

  2. Enter up to 100 keywords, one per line.

  3. Select the same storefront, keyword language, and device for the comparison. Select an app for app-specific measures.

  4. Choose Analyze keyword.

Compare only values with compatible context and evidence. Missing demand, relevance, or chance values cannot support a complete opportunity comparison.

Investigate competitor gaps

  1. Open Competitor gaps.

  2. Select the research context and your target app.

  3. Enter competitor App Store app IDs, separated by commas or spaces. The current form accepts up to 10.

  4. Choose Search corpus and read the result’s evidence and limitations.

A competitor’s presence in observed results and your app’s absence require compatible, sufficiently complete observations. No comparable rankings means the dataset cannot answer the question yet; it does not prove the competitor has no ranking keywords.

Use the numeric App Store app ID rather than a bundle identifier. Keep your own shortlist and validate relevance before deciding whether a term belongs in your listing.
