RenewalKit stores the confirmed reminder fields and schedules you choose. It does not retain scan images or raw OCR as record fields.
- Local by default: confirmed records are stored in the app's local database.
- Optional iCloud: if enabled, supported records synchronize through Apple's CloudKit service under your Apple Account.
- Optional app lock: enable Face ID, Touch ID, or device-passcode protection in Settings if you want it.
- Analytics and diagnostics: these can be turned off in RenewalKit Settings.
iCloud sync is off by default, and app lock is a setting you choose. Turning on iCloud means supported record data leaves the device for Apple's service.
Offline use
Local records, on-device recognition, and already scheduled local notifications can work without a connection. Purchases, restoration, optional synchronization, and other network services may need internet access.
Keep your original documents. RenewalKit is a reminder organizer, not a replacement for them. See the privacy policy.
