Keep existing airport stamps when airport data or codes change
Understand historical airports, previous codes, and how SkyStamp keeps saved visits associated with their airport.

SkyStamp stores your airport Passport entries and dated Visit Days on your device. An airport directory update should not turn an existing visit into a different airport.
Changed airport codes
The directory keeps a stable airport identifier and can retain previous codes when a current code changes. Searching a recognized previous code may show the current airport entry. Use the airport name and location to check the result before adding a new visit.
Airports removed from the current directory
Historical airport records can remain available to existing saved stamps even when they are excluded from current airport discovery, nearby suggestions, and the website finder. Not seeing an old airport in the public finder does not by itself mean its saved visits were deleted.
Before changing devices
Keep a copy of your collection using the supported CSV export and transfer tools, which require Lifetime Access. Restore Purchases restores an eligible purchase; it does not recover a collection file. Do not delete the app as a troubleshooting step before checking your data-transfer options.
If a stamp looks wrong
Open the airport's Visit History and check its name, location, and Visit Days. Contact SkyStamp support before removing an entry you want to keep. Choose Passport and Visit Days or Airport search and data, include the old and current code if known, app version, and what changed. Describe the issue without sending your full collection or precise location history.
